Jodi - you have done fabulous. Aren't you so glad you had this surgery!!! Wow. I am 21 months post op, and I have lost 164 lbs, down from 302. It's marvelous. I am 5'2 so you can imagine how I looked/look. I walk 3 miles a day. I lost another pound last week. But I think I'm pretty well done losing. My goal: stay in size 10 petite. I am no longer on blood pressure pills, sleep apnea machine, or axid for reflux. It truly has been marvelous. I am very happy for you.

{{{HUGS}}} and HELLO my family!! I have missed you all! I had my surgery on Monday July 29. was in ICU for 4 days and IMCU for another 4 days then finally moved to a regular room and got out on day 10 . I am not really sure what happened. I know I had almost zero stomach pain due to my epidural but I had major nausea (and some fever)for 8 days and by day 3 I was ready to pull my ng tube out myself!!!! It was freaking me out cuz I felt like I couldn't breathe because I had mucus kinda stuck on it(sorry) so I BEGGED the doc to get it out. Had my leak test on day 4 and passed and the ng tube was taken out. YAY! I was pretty drugged up with morphine and phenergan(?) for the nausea that I was talking really funky. ANYHOO>>>> I am home and feeling ok(could use some instant energy though!). Can tell I lost some weight will find out tomorrow at my doc appt.I hope they take out the j and g tubes and my staples so I can move more comfortably. I want to get out and do things and feel these are slowing my recovery! BABBLES STOP! LOL. THANKS to my 2 angels Karen Byers and Mary K! You 2 are great!!!! {{{{{HUGS}}}}} to all and thanks for caring :)
