Hello! Yes my little loser angel I have been online. I have updated my profile and posted a big thanks on the main message board. I just havent stopped in here haha. Thanks to everyone for their kind words and support I really needed and appreciated it. And special thanks to my loser skinny angel for keeping everyone informed. I am feeling pretty good and trying to keep my journal to date so I can help others through their journeys. Best of luck to all who are starting their journey and a high five to those who have made it! You are an inspiration to all.

I see Patti has not been on line so I will give you an update! Shes is home and doing ok she has had some scary things go wrong but thanks god shes ok ! She is still having trouble with her blood sugars but I think she has gotten them some what under control for now! One night she went down to 30 which is very very low and she could have died but she handled it on her own without calling anyone (which amazed and upset me)she could have went into shock! She took apple juice but it didnt raise her levels so she took a chance and had a small piece of fudge! It worked thank god. She also is having alot of trouble with her eyes since that night she cant see out of her glasses so she went to an eye doctor I think Monday and he said no permant damage (thank you God). The reason she cant see is the sugars have been dumped in her eyes too. She said when she puts on her glasses its like looking threw some with vaseline on them! The doctor said she will have to wait till her sugars are under control for a month with no ups or downs to be fitted for new glasses. So this maybe why she hasnt been on line its had to see. But surgery went well its just the other ilness giving her trouble!

Patti.....I know you won't read this until you get home but Maree is right!! You stay put until your sugars, heart and all is right once again. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts....I have faith in you and in our Lord to see you through this....it is just a minor set-back..Tomorrow all will be well again....You are in good hands....I will say a prayer for you tonite when I go to bed that the Lord will see you through this...... Well its Friday and they are going to keep Patti in the hospital another day. Her blood pressure,sugars and heart are giving her a bit of trouble. She had chestpains this morning so they have her on a nito drip and patch,they are trying to regulate her sugars they are up & down. I know she really wanted to come home I told her to stay put till they get things straighted out. She knows thats best!Maybe Saturday!

Well Patti is doing great talked to her last night. Her leak test went well so she on liquids. Juice and broth! She hoping to come home today so I guess she will be back on line soon with all of you. If not and you need any further up date feel free to e-mail me. Again let me thank you for all your support for my best friend!

Hi everyone I just got back from hte hospital and Patti looks wonderful but tired. She had just gotten back from a walk so she is up and moving.Sugars are still in the low 200's and she has a nitro patch on but seems good. She will go for her leak test tomorrow so lets cross our fingers but she sure looks better than I did 12 weeks ago! Take care

Patti surgery went very well! It lasted about 3 hours and it was done LAP! She is in ICU but its due to all the health problems she has. I am going to see her in a bit and I will post when I get home. Thanks for all for supporting my best friend. Maree Sorry this took so long but I had to sign up all over again and then it wouldnt let me post right away! Talk about upset!
