Noelle's surgery went well yesterday. It got started a couple hours late, but everything went good. When I talked to her last night, the pain wasn't too well controlled, but she sure sounded good for just having awaken from recovery. Thanks for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers for a smooth recovery. Kris

Noelle I just wanted to tell you that you chose a GREAT wls!! The DS/bpd ROCKS! Im 8 months post op and down 121#!!! Day of surgery was 478...day left hospital 7 days later was 503!! (Water weight gain) So I Go by the 503 as I gained it and I had to lose it lol I thought I would lose faster than I am, but with the DS we can eat more than the other forms of wls.........so I dont mind. I have never been sick...no complications and can eat whatever I want...of course I focus on protien...around 125gr a day. Life is good now.........but I Remember 8 months ago when I had the same wishes as you....to be able to take care of my hygene good.....fit in booths....walk without pain or needing to sit right away........and now at 382# I can do those things already! My personal goal is anything under 300 and I will be happy :) We deserve this and all the good things that come with it! 2003 is OUR year of REBIRTH! :) I wish you a safe and uneventful wls and I will be thinking of you! Email me anytime with questions or pm me on yahoo messenger.. Im Iowa_cuddles I hope to hear from you soon! HUGS and HEALTH Lisa in Iowa
