I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.**Hugs**

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR LOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Susan F. 21 years, 10 months ago

Well, I am 6 months out and 100 pounds lighter. My upper body has lost the most inches its the waist to knee area that I am struggling with. At just over 200 pounds I still see myself as a fat person so it is weird when friends come to me and call me skinny. My biggest problem is getting enough protein down. The foods I crave don't have a lot in them. I love salads.

My surgery went well. I started back to work this week, 2 weeks after surgery. I have been loosing about 1 pound per day. I have lots of energy until about 3pm each day and then I tend to fade. I am getting all my protien and water in. It has been wonderful not feeling hungery all the time or at least not feeling like I have to eat. I am walking my treadmill everyday. The worst part of this whole experience is the gastric tube which my doctor requires left in for 3 weeks. I am really looking forward to Dec 17 when it comes out. I have only had one incident with vomiting since I left the hospital and that was because I ate to fast.

Susan ~ Thanks for the email you sent me. Yeah I did have a hard time in the hospital but thank goodness its over. I hate hospitals anyway. That was my first time ever staying in a hospital and I didn't like it at all. I am glad to hear that you are doing well and remember this word....water, water, water, water~~drink lots of it!!
