Hi Cynthia. You are doing great! I'm 5 weeks post-op and have lost a whopping 11 lbs. I get in all my protein and water. No carbs above 10 per day, and no fat! My calorie intake per day is an average of 750. So you could be like me, and lose very slowly. So keep up the good work. Give yourself a pat on the back. Heres on from me. Pat-Pat-Pat. LOL My thoughts are with you and on your great success.

Cynthia, you just keep plugging along and I will be praying for you. I am sure that the further out you get the more food choices will be available to you. I hope that you will be able to eat better soon. Best wishes to you.

Cynthia: I am 12 days post-op and take celexa and evista and vitamin E and altace - all have to be crushed. At first I thought this is going to be such a hassle, but now that I've gotten used it it - it's no big deal at all. I just put the pills in a teaspoon and use the bottom of another teaspoon to crush the pills - put in a little applesauce (or whatever you choose) (about a teaspoonful) and eat it up ! They're gone in a flash. You can do it ! It's not that bad. You take those meds, girl - if you can get thru the surgery, you surely can do this. Go for it!

Cynthia, I'm sure you know this, but I'll say it anyway. You know you have to take your meds and you can't just stop. Please try to take them. It's important for your recovery to be mentally stable. I know...I take celexa and am a therapist. Take care!!!

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.**Hugs**

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.
