*****Angel Beaming Proudly***** Michele took her first official walk today and did very well! She also got her first taste of something other than ice chips. The look on her face was so cute.....she said "Oooohhh, something with flavor!" I will be going back this evening before I go to work and have her do another lap around the floor. Her fever also seems to be down, so hopefully she'll get to go home soon!

***** Angel On Duty*****I spent about 2 hours with Michele this evening and she is doing well. They put her in a regular room this afternoon. She is running a fever and her shoulder is sore from some mysterious event that took place while she was under, but othwerwise her spirits are great! I'll be returning in the morning to get her up and walking.

****Angel Reporting In**** I spoke with Michele's nurse in ICU this afternoon. She said she has some shoulder pain, but they gave her some new pain meds, and she has been sleeping a lot. Congrat's sweetie! I'll see you soon!

Hi michele....just wanted to say good luck tomorrow on your surgery. Soon you will be walking on the other side. I had my surgery 8 weeks ago and have lost 44 pounds. I feel absolutely wonderful....it was the best thing i could ever do for myself!! Laurie
