Congrats on the weight loss!! Did you have the procedure done lap or open? Just wondering because I noticed that you had to have staples removed??

Visited Marie this morning and she is doing well. Her doctor hopes she will have her "leak test" today or tomorrow. She is very appreciative of all who have emailed and thought of her.

I stopped by Marie's hospital room this morning to check on her. She was in surgery over 7 hours yesterday but all went well. She is awake and can talk in a whisper. I am sure she will be in and out all day. Marie's husband, Greg, is with her so she is in good hands. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers!

Marie, may you be blessed with an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery! I also will be having my surgery done by dr farrell. My consult date is march 12th! Can't wait to meet him. I've heard so many wonderful things about him,I'm sure you know this! Anywho, god bless and can't wait to read your future post. tammie

Marie's angel here: Marie is in the recovery unit at UNC Hospitals as I type this at 9:20pm. I spent time at the hospital with her husband and sister this afternoon but have not been able to contact them since then. As far as I know, she is doing well. I will try to call again tonight and stop by her room tomorrow morning. Keep her in your prayers!
