Terri, I think it is pretty much standard to have a physicians assistant during surgery. I think just a safety precaution. Janice

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.~*~Hugs~*~

Hi everyone, I was asked by Terri's husband to let you all know that Terri came out of the surgery and is doing well. Her doctor said it was textbook perfect! She did have to spend 24 hours in ICU, but at this time is doing well and possibly will be home by Friday, and as soon as she can she will be back to visit us!! Take care Terri, best wishes to you for speedy recovery! your friend in WLS, De

I just heard from John, Terri's husband. She is doing great. They moved her into her room. They ended up being able to do the lap she wished for. He said she is pretty much out of it today because of the pain medication but she is doing well. He was so sweet. He was so releived this is all behind them and now look forward to the future together. She went in at 7:20 am and out she came at 10:20. John said her doctor was elated at how well it went. Please go to her page and welcome her to the other side.

I am in tears now as I sit here holding my grandson Sammy. But they are tears of Joy! Please join me in welcoming Terri to the other side. I did call the hosital, several times today. They would not put me through or give me any information on her intil just now. The nurse did tell me that they just rolled her into ICU recovery. So Thank YOU GOD, she made it. I will tell you more when I find out more.
