Hello, This is Valerie. I talked on the phone to Traci today. She is at home and was released from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. She sounds GREAT!!!! She is still having some pain, as normal, but other than that she is doing much better. She is having to take some terrible liquid medicine that she said is hard to get down cause it upset's her tummy. She is already off to a great start with her protien drinks and all! Traci, you are on your way...You go girl!!!! I am so happy for you. I am sure Traci will start updating all of you soon as soon as she feels up to it. Thanks for all the prayers for Traci!

Hello everyone, this is Valerie. I visited Traci today at the hospital, she is still in the Intensive Care Unit. She was having alot of pain today along with a coughing episode (Ouch!). She said she walked twice yesterday and once already today and they were walking her as I was leaving. She looks good , but she is realy worn out and wanting to get over not feeling well. She has been running a fever and hasnt felt the hottest. Let's all keep Traci in our prayers! I plan on seeing Traci on Wednesday and will update then.

Hello everyone- It's John again. I just wanted to give you all an update on Traci. She is doing much better today. She has advanced from ice chips to having sugar free jello. Also, she has been out of bed twice, sitting in a bed side chair each time. She even took a shot walk from her bed to the door of her room. And it looks like she will be moved from the ICU tomorrow to a different room. Before you know it, she will be running the Boston marathon(just kidding). Continue to pray for a speedy recovery. Good evening everyone- It's me John, Traci's husband. She is doing somewhat better today than yesterday. She is still in the ICU at least till Saturday. Her surgeon thought that she might be a bit on the dehydrated side due to the blood loss from the surgery, so he opted to keep her in ICU for at least another day for observation reasons. Also her vital signs and lab values were a little bit abnormal so she di receive some extra IV fluids as well as two units of blood. By the time I left the hospital this evening, she was looking quite a bit better. Continue to pray for a sppedy recovery. John Grannemann

Hello everyone- I'm John, Traci's husband. Everything went well with her surgery today. She will be in the ICU overnight and then moved to a different room tomorrow. She was quite sleepy this afternoon and evening, but that is only natural after surgery. Dr Richarson said that he hoped to have her up and taking a few steps this evening. But she was still pretty sleepy when I left the hospital. I personally want to thank everyon who has been supportive and encouraging Traci these las few months. It's nice to know that we still have people in this world today that can be supprotive and care people that they don't even know. I'll give you all an update tomorrow evening after I get home from the hospital. May God bless you all. John Grannemann
