Good luck on your surgeries. Walk alot in the hospital and breathe deep. Start taking your vitamins now(Theragram M or Centrum Silver [must contain trace metals], Calcium, Vitamin D and B-12) and some extra protein to prepare for surgery. If you smoke---stop. All this will help in your readiness for surgery. Leslie E.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU. YOU WILL BE JUST FINE!!! I HAD MY OPEN RNY IN OCT 2001, STARTED OUT AT 450 LBS AND NOW I HAVE LOST 215 LBS!!!!! JUST ONE SHORT YEAR AND I AM AT GOAL. YOU WILL SEE YOUR LBS JUST MELT AWAY. YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE HOW GOOD YOUR ARE GOING TO FEEL. HEY, I AM AN OLD GUY (58) AND I MADE IT THRU JUST FINE, YOU WILL TOO!!!!!

Congrats on your up coming day... both of you ! I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers... as I spend my day in and out of the powder room I'll be praying for everyone having surgery that day...as my day is the 12th...Good luck and help each other recover... {{{HUGS}}} Kathy

I'm so happy for you guys. My husband and I are having our surgery on the 13th of this month. Mine is at 7:30 and his is at 10:30 that morning. I'll be praying for you guys. It's so great to be going through such a wonderful life "saving" event with your spouse. God Bless!
