Hi Amanda, it was so nice to see an update from you! I hope you'll post a new picture soon, I'd love to see you at your current weight. My goodness you must be tiny now! I'm nearly at my one year anniversary now and wish I could say I was at goal. I'm 25lbs away and my body is fighting me every step of the way. I'm still working at it though and hope to get there someday soon!

Amanda, This is your first day post-op and I hope you are doing well. Your story is so similar to mine! Dr. Baker will be doing my surgery 4/17/01 so I will look for your postings to see how you are doing post-op! Good luck and God bless.

My sister Sue and I will be having our surgery (RNY) on March 5 too here in Morehead City, NC. My thoughts and prayers go with you as we all will be having this on the same day! Hugs to you and see you on the other side!!!! Anita

Amanda, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine almost four months ago, and I have never had a single regret. And I still enjoy pizza!

Hi Amanda!! Best of luck to you, too! I had my surgery date wrong, I will be having it the day after you, but we'll still be losing together! I can't believe it only took you a month to get approved, you are so lucky. I waited 5 months! Patience is a virtue! Good luck! Jennifer
