Hi Cheryl! I hope all is going well with you. I know we've never met, but I check thru your profile from time to time hoping to read a new update of your journey. I pray all is going well and those old habits haven't become new habits. I'd also like to invite you to attend a WLS support group meeting in Monroe @ Frenchtown Dixie Branch Library on the 2nd Thursday of every month. From 7pm to 9pm. We really are a great group and I've learned so much from others. It also helps to hear how others are doing on this journey. Anyways, if you need more info, please feel free to reply to this message and I'll help in anyway that I can. Hugs and Blessings from your MI WLS Sister,

Cheryl, At this point you may say "What the heck have I done?" Every day, week, month gets better. I am 5 plus months out and I'd say by month 2, I was feeling like I hadn't had anything done... except that I ate 1/8 of what I did before. That is an adjustment (mentally) all it's own. Still actually miss eating large amounts of food sometimes but that only tells me that I could never have lost this weight (85 lbs and counting) on my own. That is what this surgery has taught me. I hope all your weight loss dreams come true. Hang in there. With best wishes,
