Bonnie, There is also a product line called "Nutri-Ox" that works like Nioxin, but is MUCH less expensive. I use it with great results! You can get it at your local beauty supply store. I pay around $6.00 for a 12oz. bottle. Another thing you probably know about is keeping your protien intake high-- at least 80gm. per day. My doctor says that it is good to get a variety of types of protien--animal, whey, soy, etc.--for the best results. Hope this info is of use to you. Best of luck.

HI, Still doing ok... nausea and vomiting is better, hair is still falling out.. just got the nioxin shampoo... was 66.00 for rinse and shampoo... GHEZ!!!!! Better work... took the zinc as folks had recommended it here on this site.. and all it did was make me sick to my stomach. Been at a standstill on wy weight loss, but still walking as much as I can.. is hard to look at the scale and see it not moving. Take care everybody

Doing ok all, thanks for the prayers and good wishes... Any advice on what to do with hair loss???? I am taking Zinc and Bioton ... told to try nioxon shampoo. but haven't found any yet. Take care all and thanks again Bonnie

Surgery went well, no problems, currently at 235. Started at 320. Trouble getting pro complex down.. Am so tired of the taste... Can't find anything else with as much protein.
