Hi Jane! Congrats on having your surgery! Let the weight loss begin!! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. Take those pain pills and splint the tummy! These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day. Some days those emotions will resurface and try to get the best of you, but just remember what you’ve been through to get this far! I’m sure you’ll be proud of what you’ve accomplished!! You know you can always come here and get a dose of confidence and good will! We will still be here to support you and cheer you on as the pounds come off! I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for an uncomplicated, swift recovery. You are an official loser!! Many blesings upon you during this process. I know the anxiety you are felling today. I want to re-assure you that this is truly the best decision you can make about your health. You will do great. Put your trust in Gods will. He will divinly guide you through recovery and beyond! About me & why I think I know; I am 5 days post-op. I am feeling great. I have been completely off any meds since Thursday night. I am up, around and already down 10lbs. I had some reactions. First I was extremely sensitive to Morphine but then they just switched the medicine (no biggie), second turns out I am also allergic to Codiene (who knew?). All in all I am having a very easy time with recovery. I believe it is due to the prayers, love, & support of people on this website. Come back and find me. We can share stories. I am also a CA lady. Hi Jane! I wish you the very best in your surgery - no complications and an easy and speedy recovery. There may be a few rough days ahead - recovery isn't always a picnic - but keep your focus on the goals and successes ahead.
