Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey. Susan, Congrats and best of luck to you on your surgery. Where are you having your surgery? I am originally from Waterloo and my Grandmother lived in Stanley across the street from the old elementary school and we used to go to Oelwein all the time. Hi I`ve been really busy with Dr. appointments saw my family Dr. and he has been really great and has played the devils advocate with me but says I`m ready for the right reasons I see the uroligist monday.I have to say I`m getting a little nervous (scared to death) but then I`m excited to how do you guys sleep? It is so nice to open this and see all your good wishes I always thought I walked this road alone. I get really weepy these days I think this waiting is the worse but I seem to have been waiting all my life. I go for my visit to the hopital on 8-9-04 and have my physical on the 10th thats all for now Susan

Susan, Congratulations on your journey! Everyone is nervous at this point and wondering if they have made the right decision. Just remember why you decided to make this journey and all the wonderful moments you have to look forward to. There are a lot of wonderful people waiting to greet you on the other side with a lot of support to make your journey easier. I wish you the best of luck on your "birthday"! You are almost there, darlin'.
