Valarie, congrats on your sucessful surgery. I had open RNY on 5/27/03 also. I know what you mean about wanting saltines. Is this crazy or what? I'm also sick of the "sweet" stuff. I'm going crazy trying to get in all my protein without gagging...LOL I'm ready for some pureed stuff myself. Wishing you the best. Hope to talk to you soon.....

Dear Valarie: Just wanted to wish you the best of luck when you go for surgery. I know you'll be fine, and I promise the anesthetic is nothing to worry about. I've had 4 surgeries, so I feel like an old pro! Good Luck and God Bless!
