Terri, you are in my prayers. Just rememeber you will soon be on the other side. I am am here to tell you even though I am only 1 week post op I would do it again. Hang in there and do everything Drs. tell you. My sister wrote this prayer poem and I wanted to share it with you.
MY PRAYER
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my fat He'll keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
Please let my surgeon cut with skill
So I may make it over the hill.
With Your hands I know You'll guide
And help me reach the other side.
This fat is what I pray You'll keep
so in the future I may sleep,
on my stomach or on my back
and not to die of a heart attack.
Please listen Dear Lord to my prayer.
Only You can take me there,
to where I can walk without pain,
to where I may feel whole again.
I pray this gift to me You give
so that I a little longer may live,
to see my children grow and play
and help them through another day.
To watch grand children I may never have known,
Only You can make this so.
Now I'll sleep, knowing no harm,
I'll slumber in Your loving arms.
Your gentle hand will touch my face
to let me know I've won the race.
I'll thank You now for helping me there,
Dear Lord Your the answer to all lifes prayers.
