Angel Update...I just got the word that Patricia is out of surgery and doing fine. Nothing else at this time, but we got the important info anyway. I will call her tonight and see how she is doing. She will probably be released Thursday as long as all goes well. If you have a minute, how about stopping by her surgery page and welcoming her to the other side. Congratulations my friend!!! Welcome to the losing side. Remember to walk often and drink lots of water. You'll feel like your old self in no time..oh,I guess that should be "new" self. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! God Bless...

My best wishes to you on your upcoming surgery. I hope all goes well for you and that you have a speedy, problem free recovery. My husband and I BOTH had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in 2001. I had mine in June and have lost 110 lbs with about 30 more to go. My husband had his in Oct. 2001 and has lost 215 lbs and is at goal. We both have the greatest respect for all of the doctors at PB and the staff too. We had the best treatment from our surgeon, Dr. Rumsey. He is fantastic!!! We also had great treatment at Scripps/Mercy hosp. The staff there is well trained and they take good care of you. Good luck to you on your journey to the losing side!!
