10-14-02 I am 11 weeks post op and am doing extremely well. I have been exercising almost everyday, I have begun tucking in my shirt tail, wearing a belt and even ran a 5K in the Race for a Cure. I have moments of not being able to eat at all and other times when I can eat plenty. I still gravitate to "soft" foods and have moments of throwing up. All in all, though I am very happy with the results. I have lost 65 lbs in these 11 weeks and am able to eat almost anything I like. One concern that I have is that I still think like a fat person and still have moments when I feel like 300 lbs again. I realize that therapy is a good option and I plan to maximize on my first year of weight loss. I plan to lose down to 170 lbs and I enjoyed the 5K so much that I feel quite certain that I will make this a regular activity. -----Angela Torp Lap RNY Dr. Naaman 7-29-02 -65lbs and very happy.
