Here is a wonderful ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY Update! "Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to write! So far I am doing good! I still get sugar attacks, there seems to be M&M's everywhere! I can't hide from them! :-) I get a bit discouraged from time to time. But I look at old photos and that helps alot! I am 141 pounds smaller than last year and gone from a 7x to a 2x. Will I ever get out of 22;s though? :-) I feel great and am a much happier person to be near now. The surgery not only saved my life but it has saved my marriage, my time with my children and people around me as well. It was the best descion I have ever made! Thanks again, Julie

I emailed Julie and she told me she's doing great! She's already lost 103# since 8/23/01. She's so busy exercising and enjoying her new life that it seems she hasn't had the time to update her profile. :) I wrote to her and she agreed to be my ANGEL for my surgery scheduled 12/6/01.
