Hi guys!! 6 months after surgery, I have lost 90 pounds! I feel great. My self-steem has blossommed and it is reflected in everything I do. I have lost a little bit of hair. However, vitamins have taken care of that problem. I am still extremely happy that I had the surgery and would not hesitate at all in having it again!!

10/7/02 - Exactly 7 weeks post op. I went to see Dr. Verdeja today and I have lost a total of 40 Lbs. I was disappointed, but Dr. Verdeja was very pleased with my results. He says I am losing proportionately to the total amount I need to lose. He pointed out that I am already 1/3 of the way done....in 7 weeks. I guess when I hear it those terms it isn't too bad. He warned me that the weight loss will slow down now and that I should be patient. Although I am trying to eat much better than before the surgery, all foods has settled well. I am eating even raw veggies & fruits!!! My biggest complaint is that I feel as if I have not had surgery!!! It is the best decision of my life. Hang in there everyone!!!
