I read your profile and visited your website. You've got a lot of determination and I'm soooooo happy for your recent surgery. May God continue to bless you. You were a 'loser' even before you actually had the surgery! That took a lot of courage. Keep your head up - we're all pulling for you.

F.D. I hope you're doing well following your WLS. You're in my thoughts. "He who has health has hope; and he who has hope has everything." - Arabian Proverb

ChanMan is doing GREAT! He's been up and walking and doing everything he should. He's eaten a bit of broth and jello and got full "really fast". Our buddy Tim is determined to make him walk at least 100 miles before he leaves the hospital. Felicia is holding up well too and even said she was COMFORTABLE sleeping in the recliner next to his bed.

Dear Chan, you have been an inspiration to me from the first time we met. I knew you had it in you to take this journey and you have proven it. Every single day of my life I think of the comment you made at one of our support group meetings "This is a room without eyes - a place where people see me for ME and not how much I weigh". I have taken that statement and tried to incorporate it into everything I do for and with WLS patients. I am so happy for you and Felicia. You are a special couple and deserve every moment of happiness you have from this moment on. God bless you and keep you. You are a special, special friend.

Chan...you are in my thoughts and prayers today. By the time you read this, you will be on the other side. You've waited so long for this day to arrive, and you've inspired so many of us in the FACES group. Best wishes to you as you begin your new life after WLS.
