Hi Carolyn, This is Mary Ray use to be Mary Witherington. I saw that you had surgery same as I and I read that you had problems with your gall bladder. I am sorry that you got sick. I had my gall bladder removed 2 years before my surgery. How are you doing now? I have lost 55 lbs since July 3rd. The surgery has been a blessing to me. I would like to get in touch with you. It would be nice to have someone to share this experience with. I hope that you are better now. Keep in touch.

Good Luck Carolyn! Don't worry about the pain. I'm sure your doc will order up some good meds! Remember, keep good thoughts and breathe deep -- it really helps. (BTW - I am 2 1/2 weeks post op and have only taken one pain pill since coming home. It's really not that bad!)

Carolyn...good luck on your upcoming wls. Dr. Dewitt is also my surgeon. My date is scheduled for March 14th. Isn't he the nicest man...very down to earth. I will keep you in my prayers. Renee' B in Madison, AL
