Congrats...I had BPD surgery with Dr. Sifers on 9/9 and I have lost a total of 44lbs in 9 weeks. I have had no problems. Just take things slow after surgery and enjoy your new smaller life. [email protected] Elizabeth

Hello Susan, Congratulations on taking this brave step towards a better life for yourself. My orthopedic surgeon recommended WLS for me also and assured me that it would help my joint and back pain tremendously. That is the main reason I am having it done, but am now excited about all the other things that will go along with the surgery such as being able to fit into stylish clothes.
