Hi Rita. I am going to my local Curves. I have been going since January, 2003. When I started going I weighed 420 pounds at 5'8" tall. Now it is April, 2003, and I got my report on my weight loss and inches lost. Here are the results. I have lost 34.5 inches and 28 pounds. I feel fantastic. No one looks at me funny in my baggy shorts and sweats. Hey we are all there for the same reason: to help us get healthier. I take each day there one step at a time. Yes I may huff and puff sometimes, but I feel so good physically and emotionally when I am finished with a workout. I am showing myself that I can do this for me. Yes we have the tool to help us lose weight, but this is also another tool at my disposal and I am making the most of it. I go 3-5 days a week, some weeks more than others, but I go. I know that it can be unnerving to take that first step, but once I did, I learned that it was one of the best things that I could have ever done for me.
