Starting to feel real!

Today I went to the doctors office (Dr. Bobby) to get my pre-surgery instructions. I was give a folder to read, a diet to follow, the week before surgery (July 17th), an hour with the nutritionist, and 15 min's with the doctor. I was then sent to the pharmacy to pick-up my drugs for before/after surgery. Wow in a little over 2 weeks my life is going to change forever, hard to believe. I am 55 with 2 grown children, sometimes I feel I too old for this, but my health is suffering with both high blood pressure and diabetes. I hoping this site will give me some support and hoping that people will be there through this journey. Thanks for listening!!
