Our Fitbit Start and Ramblings...

Our fitbits arrived yesterday and been having fun playing with the app and features. Hubby did over 5000 steps wearing it to work and says he likes the hourly activity reminder, too. I am glad he likes it, is a fun way to watch our progress in many ways. As soon as I reach 350 lbs I plan to get the fitbit scale and that is not too far away. It is amazing to look back and see that I have lost about 100 lbs so far but it was a slow and steady climb and the struggle is harder since I injured my knees but it does not stop me. I have been doing more research on surgeries and learned about the Orbera Balloon  so i have narrowed down my choices to the  Orbera or similiar procedure and the gastric sleeve. In the meantime I am collecting stuff to continue my high protein low carb ways like smaller rubbermain containers to hold smaller portions. I plan to divide my future takeouts into multiple meals. I have ordered some meal replacements and usually have premier shakes on hand. I have tried others but I keep coming back to premier. My hubby got me a new one to try but it was so thick to drink and filling but it was a milk protein product. Milk and cheese make me constipated on my medications so I will go back to my premier shakes. They are great!
