Congratulations on your weightloss. I'm sitting here one day post-op from my panniculectomy/hernia repair at Johns Hopkins Bayview in Baltimore (Dr. Shermak). I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I can say with all honesty that I'm feeling no pain (ok, thanks to the pills), but I felt mostly discomfort (rather than pain) without the pills;-). I actually think the pain is better managed than with my open GBS because I don't have the accompanying discomfort from overeating. So you'll be fine and I hope you're as pleased with your post-op results as I am (even before the swelling has gone down). Take care. T.

Surgery went fine. I was able to go home from the hospital the evening of the very next day. Except for some moderate pain, I'm doing great! I'M ON THE OTHER SIDE AND HAPPY TO BE A LOSER!
