~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

~j~Angel swooping in ~j~ I just spoke to Ann: She's had a little trouble; seems that during surgery the doctor knicked a blood vessel and she developed a hematoma. It started leaking out of her belly button and her hemoglobin dropped. She received 2 pints of blood yesterday and is feeling better now. She wasn't able to get her drain tube out Monday because the drainage wasn't any lighter, so hopefully, since they've gotten the hematoma taken care of she'll get it out on Friday.
Please say a prayer for my sweet angelette, that she continues to get better and has no more complications! Thank you all for your support; I know she appreciates it!

**Angel flying in once again** I visited Ann again at the hospital tonight, and she looked great! She was up faithfully walking, and was sipping water and eating jello (which wasn't very tasty, by the way according to her) but she loved the popsicles! She was sitting up and her pain was very minimal. You all should have heard her giving the nurses heck, but shoot, they sure gave it right back! LOL The nursing staff there is great, and I absolutely can NOT wait for my turn next month! She was very talkative and just had beautiful smiles all around.
I wanted to take this moment to thank her for allowing me to be her angel and letting me participate in this experience. It has been soooo informative, and I've learned a great deal. She has completely allayed my fears about the pain afterward, and having met some of the nurses has just given me so much confidence in this facility.

I know lots of you pre-ops are scared and are unsure what to expect. I urge you to try to visit someone who is post-op; it will totally reassure you and put your fears at ease. It sure did mine. I just can't thank Ann enough for allowing me to be a part of this and for educating me on what to expect. She truly is an angel herself!

Hopefully the doctor will release her tomorrow after dinner, and she'll come home. Although I'm not sure she's looking forward to that...She's become quite attached to the bariatric bed she's in! LOL She will update us when she gets home and feels up to it.

Look out Indianapolis, we've already decided that once we're both up to it, we're gonna paint this town red!!! I know her recovery is gonna be great, and she's gonna end up a great big loser! God Bless you, Sweetie!!!!!!

Woo Hoo! Angel Alert! Just got home from visiting Ann, and she's doing great. She's already been up walking, and said the pain was only about a level 3 out of 10. She was loving those ice chips! Looks like she will be able to come home on Thursday. Yeah Ann! I sure can't wait to join you on the other side! God Bless!
