Jill Cristo

"Jill looks to be about mid 50 and she is very slender and short with short blond hair. Now that you have a picture of her. Jill was very pleasant. She asked a lot of questions and her questionnaire form was extensive. The wheeler clinic where she saw me was very nice and kid friendly. But you would think that the chairs would not have arm rests. Wrong! Most of them did, there were a couple of couches way in the back, but for the most part the chairs had armrests which means that my hips were hanging out between the sapce of the armrests and it wasn't comfortable at all. I thought Jill was thorough and very patient with me. She would ask a question several times just in different ways. She also listened extremely well and based shared her experiences as well although she never really had a weight problem. She is very conscieous of what she can and can not eat. She reinforced to me that although she was thin she has to wrk at it very hard to stay that way. All in all I rate her a 10 out of 10. I would recommend anyone to her."

Susan Markus

"Sue was very professional and quite supportive. I didn't have many questions of her because her questionnaire answered most. She explained the surgery and also let me know that she welcomed change and input from patients. Her system is a combination of many bariatric surgeons and she devolped one to fit Bristol hospital's regime. She is not unrealistic about any weight issues although she looks to be about a size 6! All in all I was very comfortable with her. She frequents Obseityhelp.com but also told me that if I have any question/concerns to call her. She has an open door policy. If you need her she is there for you."

Joseph Robles

"Dr. Robles is young, very knowledgeable and very laid back. He's compassionate yet stern. I met Dr. Robles at the Bristol Wellness Center and the staff there is wonderful. The office and building was immaculate. He has worked with Dr. Valin and Dr. Reinhold for about 5 years before performing surgery in Bristol with Dr. Chicarelli. He will not perform more than 2 surgeries per week, because he wants each patient to have his undivided attention. He stresses aftercare and the support group meetings. To date I met him for an initial consultaion and my next visit to him will be after the nutritionist and psych evaluation. Dr. Robles was caught me off guard initially. When my name was called to see the doctor, a young man called me and said follow me. This young man was dressed very casual. (polo shirt and khaki shorts) When I went into the examining room I expected the young man to leave but he didn't. He extended his hand out to me and said "Hi, I'm Dr. Robles, It's nice to meet you". I nearly fell out the chair."
