Pain
Mar 14, 2018
I am 6 weeks post gastric bypass surgery. Things have been going really well, but I wish someone would have told me about the pain you experience with food. There are so many reasons... eating to fast, too big of a bite, your stomach isn't ready for that food yet. I read the guide I recieved from my doctor a million times. I knew throwing up was possible... but why do they leave the detail of the pain out.
2 weeks ago I had a really bad "episode." It was the worst pain I have ever had in my life. After throwing up 4 times and an hour of pain, it calmed down.
Today, I was having lunch, chicken and green beans. This was day 3 of the same thing and for whatever reason, I had another "episode."
I don't think a guide or books can ever fully prepare you for what you experience. I know everyone's experience is different, but I just wish I knew some of these details prior to.
Maybe I am just having a rough day.
