I got my first lap band in october 2006 when i was 240 pounds. i have lost over 90 pounds with it and my lowest weight was 153 pounds in september 2009. after a really bad bronchitis i had to take antibiotics and ever since it was not the same anymore.
i had fills then unfills again and my doctor was not able to find the right setting for my band. either it was too tight or too loose. so i started gaining weight again.
in 2011 i moved from germany to tennesee and found a new great doctor. in july 2014 i was told my lap band has slipped and i had to get surgery. my old lap band was removed and a new one has been put in. my discharge weight was 207 pounds on july 29 2014. My goal is set for 165 pounds...let the new journey begin :)
