I had the lapband removed 4 years ago due to a slippage and now I want another surgery. Am I considered a revision? For insurance purposes I asked the surgeon's office if I am and they said no. Well I called my insurance company (GEHA) and was told yes

I'm just starting my weight loss journey...again. I had the lap band in '08 and lost 130lbs but it slipped and almost killed me in '12. Since then I've gained 150lbs. Anyways... I now have GEHA and just got off the phone with customer service. She said
