I'm just over 3 months out from my RNY.  Over the last couple weeks I've noticed that I bruise really easily.  I probably have 40 odd bruises on myself right now...and I have no idea where most of them came from.    I did have my 3 month bloodwork done

I'm curious if there might be anyone in here that lives kinda close to me? I'm near shelburne.   Any support groups I've found  are apparently about an hour away from me and meet once a month at a time that may be difficult to get to.  So I'm wondering

Well I went for my one month post op yesterday.   I'm happy to report that I'm down 38 pounds since starting my opti fast in April.  I've only got one pound to go to get to my first goal which is move from severly obese to obese so I'm excited.  Funny.

Well it looks like I'm almost to the start of my Re-Birth-Day.  Tomorrows the day.  I'm not nervous or anything and I am prepared.  I've been a good girl and am taking my vitamins, took my opti properly and not done anything bad on my diet.

Well I guess I've officially reached my half way point.  Day 11/21 today!  First day was rough but been fine since.   The only problem I'm having now is that I really do miss chewing food!  Lol.  Ok I read this on others posts before and I thought wow

Ok maybe this a dumb question but I've tried and can't figure it out.  Crystal light is fine as per dr and includes Splenda.  However on the ingredients it says sucralose.   Sucralose is sugar.  All the other bottled flavours like mio and such don't sa

So today's my start with the opti.   I've researched an read everything I could about options and limited things I could do with it.   Generally it seems people like the chocolate better with less modifications.   So I decided to try it first.   He fir

I don't have lupus...BUT I have heard something about likelihood of developing may increase after WLS?  Is that right or just a myth?  The reason I'm asking is that I have a strong family history....my mother and two aunts have had lupus for many years

As I'm sitting here growing more reflective I realize what's really bugging me.  I really hate the word "losing"!!!! To me that signifies something I've lost and am hoping to find or get back.  Now I'm about to embark on what is apparently a treaterous
