Coincidence? I think not! I became a member April 17, 2003...

Apr 17, 2016

And here I am, 13 years to the day later logging in again...this was meant to be!!!

I have now gone from 154 to 243. When I posted in 2010 and 2013 I knew I was on the wrong track and continued to not do a thing to get back on track. I'd start/stop then start/stop. Fast food has returned as a way of life and junk food is a part of my daily picture. I sit home doing volunteer work by computer several days a week, eating 4-5 times a day (meals) and munching junk along the way.

I just requested to join a group on here for those of us who need to get on track. My situation got critical 2 weeks ago; BP shot to 195/145 - they thought it was a stroke or brain bleed. No prior history of high blood pressure...none, then some stress and BAM...through the roof critical. I smoke, I'm obese, I get no exercise...I'm a walking time bomb. Time to rejoin, reach out for support and stop making excuses, resetting deadlines to "cut back" "eat healther" "only eat what can be grown" and all the other stories I tell myself but don't act on.
