100lbs gone!!! YIPPEE!!

Today weighed in and have finally lost 101.2 lbs.  I fell wonderful and excited.  Now I still have a long journey but it feels great to have lost this much.  I am so thankful that I got this surgery, I am getting my life back!

Great Morning!!

For about a month now, it seemed as though the scale wasn't moving.  For all of February I had only lost 1 pound.  I started to panic, wondering if I started doing something wrong.  Did I stretch out my pouch? Did I eat too much? Well this morning I went down a pound.  I am so happy for this pound, maybe my weight-loss is not stalling, maybe I need to kick start it again.  I am finally adding weights to my exercise.  I know I might be a little late at this, but maybe it will still work for tightening.  Did any of you have stalls in your weight-loss at about 6 to 7 months. Please let me know.

Today Bummed out!!

Today is Valentines Day and since my husband and I already celebrated through the weekend, I wasn't really excited for today.  Then I got on the scale, and really was bummed out.  I have lost less than 3lbs since Jan. Now I found out it is supposed to rain and snow today, so I got even more bummed out!

I have been trying to get back on track since my last post, walking daily (except this Sat & Sun), zumba 3x week, and watching what I am eating and I didn't even loose a pound from last week.  My weight loss has slowed down, and I am starting to freak out.  I still need to loose about 38 lbs to get to my goal weight.  February 19th will be my 7mo mark, and I find myself wanting to taste more and more foods that I shouldn't be. Don't know if this is normal or not!  

Well on the upside, I feel great, I am more active and outgoing now, and I have lost a lot of weight (more than I thought possible).  My husband is taking me to a really nice dinner at a restaurant that we have not tried.  We have always eaten out quite a bit, but now I don't eat much so in his words "I am a cheap date now" LOL

SLUMP

I don't know what to do.  After surgery, I had started out really well exercising, logging everything I ate, keeping track of protein, etc.  Now I just find myself in a slump and not doing much of anything.  I really don’t want to go back to the way I was before, and I don’t know why I am falling into the same pattern. I know that everything that is bad for you tastes so good, so how do we keep the mind in control?   How did you keep yourselves motivated to do better?
