Hi Cathy, I'm out about 5 months and doing very well with the foods I choose now, but I had some of the same problems you are having when I was only 3 weeks out. My problem was eating too fast, or trying to do something else while I ate, like read the newspaper. My worst experience was with a bowl of oatmeal. I used a big spoon and ate it much too fast and suffered for hours before it would finally come up. It just stuck and was very painful, but it was enough to teach me a lesson. I now use a small spoon and fork, and I pay attention to every bite that goes in. You will learn too, and soon you will be feeling much better about eating. It just takes time and practice. Be easy on yourself, you're doing great.
