Dear Jenn, I didn't personally know your mom but I wanted to send you and your family my sincere sympathy at your mom's passing. We may never know the exact cause of the complications she encountered during her surgery but know that your mom went into this w/ an educated knowledge of the risks we all under took to achieve our goals. Losing any member of your family is never easy, but when it's your mom you feel as if your world is shattered, I know, I lost my mom last year in May to lung cancer. I know the pain your feeling now is terrific and you feel as if your world and you heart will never be the same but as the saying goes, time does heal all wounds. I know this is something you don't want to hear at this time but know your mom had the best intentions, she wanted to be around and healthy for you and any grandchildren she may have had. May GOD lay his healing hands on your heart, guide you and keep you in the comming weeks and months. Prayers are being sent to heaven for you and your extended family. Sincerely, Donna Traub

Jenn, I am so sorry for your loss. I couldn't imagine the pain you're going through. I know no one can say anything to make you feel better. Just know you are being thought of. Love, Sarah

Dear Jenn: I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know your mom but I just read her past posts and her profile. She was like everyone else here, she wanted to live a normal life. For 99.9% of us we get that chance after surgery. My heart breaks for you. You must be so angry at your mom for having this surgery when you didn't want her to. No one can blame you for being angry. Please know she did this to have a better life but it wasn't in the plans of a greater power. Your mother loved you and she never wanted to leave you, she want to prolong her life by losing weight and maybe curing her diabetes. You are in my prayers, I hope you can forgive your mom someday and find a way to understand why she had this surgery to begin with. Love and prayers, Debbie

Jenn - I am so sorry you have lost your mother. I want you to know that she will always be remembered. I didn't know your mother, but I know I will never forget her and the way she touched my life. Be strong and live for her. I am sure she would have wanted that. God Bless.

Jenn ~ My thoughts and prayers are with you through this very difficult time in your life. We don't always understand why things happen the way they do sometimes and the pain can seem unbearable. I can tell you from experience to look to the Lord for your comfort and understanding. Remember the passage "Footprints" and I pray for the Lord to comfort for you and your family and friends in your days ahead.
