2nd weigh in pre surgery and "the phone call" the week prior

So start with the good news, I lost 7 pounds in the last month!!  Down 11 pounds from my first visit and I am proud of myself.  I am watching what I eat and exercising preparing for the surgery!  My goal is to get under 350 prior to the surgery and I am well on my way.

Now for my life!!  I had a bunch of stuff I need to get done prior to the surgery and one was getting an updated mammorgram and pap...fun?  NOT!!  I had my appointment 2 weeks ago and went in for my mammogram about 12 days ago.  I also had my iron retested and it came up into a good range for surgery, so that is great!!  My PAP came back normal!!  YEAH!!!  I was waiting for my mammogram results and then is happened..."THE PHONE CALL" and any woman over 40 knows that is never a good thing!!  The breast center called last friday and said, "The radiologist saw something suspicious on your mammogram and we need you to come in on Monday and get a diagnostic Mammogram done.  Of course the person scheduling the appointment can not tell you anything!! So I had a weekend of hell, thinking that I am about to find out that I have breast cancer...screw weight loss surgery I am going to lose 15 pounds when they cut of my DDD breasts!!!  Yeah, I went to a dark place, but I did not eat my way to comfort so points for me, but believe me I wanted to eat raw cookie dough like no ones business.  I went in on Monday after a weekend of no sleep and sat in the little waiting room wearing my hospital gown waiting to get more tests done thinking that I will still go to my appointment with the Surgical Weight Loss center on Friday and find out if they can just do the surgery at the same time...yeah I was not thinking clearly! More xrays were done and I was sent back to the waiting room while the radiologist read the films.  When they called my name again..it was to tell me that what the radiologist thought they saw on the orginal films was not there anymore.  I was good to go..NO BREAST CANCER!! YEAH!! 

I have two more prerequisites left other than my monthly visits until December and my plan is to get them done this week.  First I have to meet with the psychologist and that should be fun!  I have a weird sense of humor...so I am going to have to put that to the side and be good.  Then I have to get re-tested for H-Pylori.   God I hope I test negative since the thought of another round of antibiotics makes me cringe!
