Good Samaritan Hospital

"no problems, good staff, good experience. slow in contacting me for preop review as they waited until one day before and i was traveling and tried to tell them that many times but could't get them to understand they wouldn't be able to reach me while traveling. "

"My first impression was that he was an extremely knowledgeable and articulate person and was impressed by his credentials and the fact that he continues to do research and publish and present at professional meetings. When we met privately, he was a bit brusque at first but warmed up considerably. But the real acid test is how well my surgery went and it could not have been better. I have had almost none of the unpleasant side effects that some vsg patients have and had almost no pain and was easily able to make the 300 mile car trip home a day after being dismissed from the hospital. Staff is good and has helped me alot since I had an unusual insurance situation. Dr. C and his partner really stress follow up as they think its critical to long term success and they have various ways of doing that. I think Dr. C is outstanding and recommend him without qualification. His only fault is that he is often late (but not for surgery at 7:30 am which began right on time) but I believe its because he is truly busy and working hard and goes the extra mile for his patients.
