Hey Deana ~ After I had my first surgery back in '89 I had the same kinds of problems where I worked. I had always been the heaviest there and there were a couple of girls who didn't like me anyways. I didn't tell them about my surgery until about 6 weeks afterwards and the weight loss was really starting to show. At first they were excited for me. However, after losing about the first 60 lbs. or so things changed. As I started to wear smaller clothes they didn't say anything. As they were not close friends of mine I just let it go and stopped telling them anything unless someone asked me directly. If your friend is worth it, I would take here aside and let her know that her behavior is hurting you. It's really hard for some people not to get too close to that green-eyed monster. If she doesn't see eye to eye with you then you may want to move on and hope that she can come to terms with her own behavior. It's sounds like you are doing great! Take care and keep fighting the good fight!

Deana, Congratulations first of all on your awesome weight loss. I am sorry that you are having a hard time with your friend. I went through a similar thing with a very supportive friend. She was at first anyway. I just want to say that I hope it all works out and to stay proud of what you are doing. It is so worth it. Sandy 17 months out and down 156 lbs.

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author)FROM MY HEART TO YOU ~*~Hugs~*~
