I have been heavy weight my entire life. There is part of me that is wondering will people accept the soon to be smaller me. I don't know. I hope they will. Right now, I am on the shake only part of this journey. So on Monday I found out that my insurance approved my VSG! I was so happy. I thought everyone else would be happy also, but they weren't! Yesterday, I had my Pre-Op appointment with Dr. Guske. I'm very happy with my choice for a surgeon. He was there to answer any questions. My surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday! 

I am worried about being in pain. I currently take Percocet for my knees (which both need to be replaced) and my back (bulging disc at L5-S1). So, I have to wein down my meds. So, I won't be doing any stairs this weekend forward. But here's to another good day. I'm focused on my end goal, a healthier me.
