Laurel - I'm glad to hear that you are home from the hospital and that things went well for you as you are recovering from your WLS. I pray that you will have a minimum of pain and be free of complications in the weeks and months that lie ahead. Can’t wait to see the glowing updates you will provide us with!

Well, I MADE IT!!!! I am officially on the OTHER side! I just wanted to say thank you and give a big huge cyber "SMOOCH" to all those beautiful people who wished me well and included me in their prayers for my big day! I just love you all! Every word meant so much to me. I had a pretty uneventful surgery. I did deal with some pain, but nothing I didn't expect. I did stay in Denver until this morning. But thankfully I am now HOME! I was MORE than ready to be home and sleep in my own bed. Anyway, enough rambling. I just wanted to tell everyone how much their words of encouragement and prayers meant to me. Thanks again! Laters, Laurel Causer

Laurel, Hope you are doing well. I have not read the surgery board for a while but today Craig, Colorado hit me. I was born and raised in Craig and will be visiting there the week of August 17-24th. I had my surgery Oct 22, 2001 here in Sacramento and have done so well!! I hope you have the same experience. It is a lot of work adjusting and learning to live a new life but oh so worth it. I've lost 134 lbs. --Best wishes and thinking of you!!
