No more Lap Band after 11 years!

My Anemia saved my life!

My gastroenterologist wanted to xray my small intestine to see if that was a source of my anemia.... it showed severe reflux and a band slipped to the point it was cutting off my small intestines.
I needed emergency surgery to remove my band.

I am a 2 days out from band removal... no revision in sight as I am 112 pounds.  I didn't have reflux for the first time in years and years. That was an amazing feeling.

I hope I can keep my weiht down after all the issues. My stomach is full of polyps, my esophagus is a mess and my stomach is so swollen.
