Premier Protein Chocolate Shake

"I'm 11 years out of surgery (RNY). I used to drink other protein drinks that had a lot less protein. About 5 years ago I found Premier Protein Chocolate and decided to try it, and it is now the only pre-made shake I will buy. I only like the chocolate and it must be cold. I can't say anything negative about it. Someone spoke about the bottled one tasting terrible -- maybe it is different in a bottle? Then my husband wanted to lose weight and started to drink the shakes in strawberry. He loves them and keeps them at work and at home. (I don't care for the strawberry or vanilla -- I usually LOVE strawberry -- my old ones were strawberry, but this brand, to me, has a very weak taste. But my husband loves it, so everyone is different.) And now my 20 year old son has discovered them, so he cleans me out of my chocolate supply every time he leaves to drive up to school. We buy them at COSTCO ($24.50 for 18 boxes) or BJ's ($18.50 for 12 boxes). I don't remember if COSTO online charged for delivery (doubtful -- I hate to pay shipping) -- I had a few cases shipped to my son at school. I often forget to eat dinner because my husband works nights. Sometimes I get a little shakey and grab a Premier -- I feel better really quickly. Premier Protein is one of the most important staples in my health world. I've kept my weight off using shakes for meals at least once a day. "

AdvantEdge Carb Control - Strawberry Cream

"This is my staple. I am almost 9 years out and have lived on this product pretty much from the beginning. I drink at least 2 per day. As long as it is very cold, I find it delicious. Everyone has their own taste, and this satisfies mine. This is my favorite flavor, but I also order the Rich Dark Chocolate. Once in a while I'll get the French Vanilla to make fruit shakes, but rarely because I can use the Strawberry Cream for that. It has 17 grams of protein, and only 110 calories, so it is a great snack as well as a good breakfast. For a bigger meal, I use one of these, put in frozen fruit, add a scoop of protein powder and blend. Worth a try. So easy to grab on the way out the door."

Mordcai Blau

"After confirming that Dr. Blau took my health plan, and that the office is very good at getting approvals whenever possible, I went for a consult for a lower body lift. He immediately went to "multiple surgeries" instead, informed me it would be about $50,000, and that he NEVER takes insurance -- "This is plastic surgery -- it is cosmetic." I thanked him and left -- he never bothered to look up. Incredibly arrogant."

"So far the experience has been all good."
