well I was scheduled to have my surgery on April 22, went for my preop at the surgeons and was told that my surgery had to be resceduled to the end of MAY...I WAS DEVASTATED to say the least...very upset at this point with my doctor office, I had been put on welbutrin by my primary physician to help with quiting smoking. I have gained weight due to being put on welbutrin, which my primary physician said she would confirm this with the surgeon so that he realizes that it was due to fault of my not following a diet, which i had been, was told by my physicain on the day of my scope that the wieght was not a issue as long as i quit smoking, when I got to the pre op appointment, the nurse told me otherwise, now I am having to reschedule everything, which I am not happy about but I want this surgery so bad that I guess I will just have to wait...I didnt mean to go on about this my main purpose was to say thank you for all the well wishes, they are greatly appreciated, this site is awesome. My new date is may 27 providing I lose 15 pounds by then..working extra hard at it...starting just liquids tomorrow per the surgeon.
