Watson Roye Jr

"From August 2017 up until now which is Thanksgiving day 2017. Dr. Roye has been my surgeon. I originally had my Gastric Bypass 03-31-2003..... At that time I weighed 420. I lost down to 190 , and stayed there a couple of years. Then slowly started gaining some of my weight back. close to 40 pounds. I struggles really hard trying to keep from gaining more. Then early this year I started having alot of pain. Hard pain , I finally had to go to the ER. Here at Baylor in Waxahachie. They did a CT scan, found out I had a Fistula forming. So I looked up Dr. Roye and had it fixed. He is a awesome Doctor. Very caring . I had alot going on inside, with alot of scar tissue. oh and he found 2 Hernias a Hyena Hernia and the other in my groan. He repaired everything.. So far I've lost 30 pounds.. I'm hoping for 20 more... Thank you Dr. Roye "

Vi-Shake Nutritional Shake Mix

"Hi, I had gastric bypass 9 years ago. I started having problems with my health because of nutrition about 2 years ago. Needless to say, I have tried almost every Protein Shake out there, to try and help me rebuild my strength. I have researched Body By Vi.. And with 3 proteins, and all the vitamins and minerals thats in it, It surpasses most other protein drinks out there. And the taste is awesome. If you can remember back in your childhood to when your mom made you home made ice cream.. Well Vi is that good.. It isn't overly sweet. its just right. 2 scoops of protein powder is 90 calories. You can mix it with Milk , water, or like me.. Almond or Soy milk.. I am now lactose intolerant after WLS. Even with almond milk.. that only adds 60 calories. And very low carb. So your basic shake is 150 calories. Add a half of a Banana and a few ice cubes, and presto, Banana ice cream.. Yummy.. Any questions, write me at [email protected] .. I'll be glad to help.. "

David Provost

"I went to Dr. Provost, hoping to get help with some problems I've been having after Gastric Bypass. 9 years ago. Weight gain and some muscle strength problems. I felt that my stoma had stretched out and my pouch empty very fast causing me to get hungry fast. First of all, Dr. Provost took along time with me, trying to convince me that Gastric bypass patients DO NOT have stoma's .And there was nothing he could tighten or put a band around that would help my pouch restrict food . All my 10 years experience with research etc. tells about gastric bypass having a stoma that after awhile could stretch out and some weight come back on. I've also always heard the importance of protein shakes, etc. with problems of hair loss , weight gain, muscle strength, you name it. Dr. Provost DOES NOT believe in protein drinks. I had had a problem with anemia, and losing strength in my arms and legs. His nutritionist was very rude to me when I called asking about supplements to try and keep some muscle tone. I wont be going back."

"I had my first visit 12-20-02. I really was impressed with Dr. Ihde. He was very down to earth and explained the surgery completely,as well as the risk that go along with WLS, He talked about the eating program and how important exercise is to making it work.. He took time with me and answered all my questions.. I am very happy with my chose of surgeons,,I believe he is working on a support group and that will be awesome.. He's in his new office in Lancaster Tx.. I would rate Dr. Ihde so far a 10.. 1-24-03 After getting to know Dr. Ihde better.. I trust him completely , and his rating is off the charts,, Thank you Dr. Ihde.."
