When feeling blue about your “slow” weight loss or a plateau, remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Good luck!

OMG!!! It's tomorrow!! Are you ready yet? I know you are. Just imagine how wonderful it will be to "do" a sheepdog in 110 degree weather at 140 pounds. Much easier. Not to mention kicking that wheelchair to the curb! Your poor knees will not hurt anymore in a short while. See you VERY SOON.

I wish you an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. Having WLS is a big step in the right direction.

Although when you wake up from surgery you may be saying, "What the hell did I do"?

I guarantee once the pain and the newness wears off and you become better adjusted, you like me and millions of others, will be saying it is the best thing you have ever done.

It gets better everyday. You will not be perfect as no one is, but with all of us here at AMOS to support you I have no worries that you will be a success story.

I pray that your journey is filled with self-awareness and enlightenment. God Bless.

P.S. I am on pins and needles just like you. I am down to goal weight and am having the rest of my reconstructive surgery on the same day as your WLS. I had TT and inner thigh lift 8/13/03 and will have arm lift, breast lift, and hip and buttock lift on the 29th. My insurance paid for it all. I am truly blessed and know that miracles really do happen. Good Luck.
