Hey all!!

So it's been just over 3 years since I had my DS!! I haven't updated on here in forever!! Since surgery, I have gotten married, we are welcoming our second son in April!! I absolutely love my life :D I went from 420lbs down to 206lbs. Of course being that I am growing a human, I have gained about 30lbs but am I worried about it? NOT AT ALL!!! Weight melted off like butta right after our first was born. Even if it doesn't this time, I am more than happy with my success with this gift given to me :D So much love, happiness and new abilities have been granted to me. Being a mommy is the best by far!

So I had my 7 month follow up this past Tuesday....I have went from a 64.3 BMI to a 39.1, I have lost 64% of what I need to lose, and I am no longer MORBIDLY obese!!! Was a very pleasing moment to hear all of that. Still waiting to see if I hear anything back on my labs...although was told that if I hear nothing, everything is good. We shall see. This summer has been great, I've been to 2 theme parks, and haven't gotten winded at all...rode my first rollercoaster because I can now fit in the seats!! I've spent time out on the lake tubing...it's just a wonderful feeling to not be lugging around an extra 166lbs. My boyfriend and I just got a puppy together, and she's been great for keeping me on the active side :) Definitely loving life!!!

so I'm down 155 lbs which is awesome.. but my twins have gone from a DD/DDD to a C. nite if it were a full C I'd be ok with it.... but they are justa deflated mess lol :P guess it's way better than being so over weight :-)

So Surgery was Wednesday, made my way to the OR at about 12:30pm, Surgery went beautifully and Dr Hill was able to do the whole surgery with no problem whatsoever. Recovery room was almost 3 hours, then I made my way to my room which got switched last minute from having a roomie, to having a private room....and I got to see my family who had been waiting for me for hours wondering. I was up and walking around and peeing within a couple of hours, I was released from the hospital Friday morning and things have been great even had my first BM yesterday. First night sleeping in my own bed even went off without a hitch. There were 2 occasions where I got sick  (teeny tiny bit) at the hospital....the nausea was the worst...coping with the pain isn't all too bad. Anywho on my road to recovery, so wanted to post a quick update on here!!

So the big day is finally here (tomorrow) and I am a tad nervous right now, but I think I will be able to sleep. So very happy I have an awesome support system of family and friends.Here goes nothing!!

So today is day one of my pre-op diet, which means I am down to the last 9 days before surgery!!! Getting pretty excited I must say. I've been dealing with a bit of a cold or maybe it's just allergies...but seems to be finally on it's way out.. I have blood work done Thursday morning, as well as pre-op class, and finally meet with Dr. Hill (surgeon) hard to believe I can actually say next weeks is my surgery!! Though it seems like a long process I feel that I have been very lucky, as it will only be 5 months to the day from my very first appointment. I have friends who started their process well before I did, and are still waiting for a date.

In other news...the man who I feel is my soul-mate and I had split up 16 months ago and he moved home to California...after being apart we realize we are both miserable without each other, and he is moving home to New York in February...I couldn't be more happy and 2013 certainly seems like it is going to be a great year for me :) 

Finally I want to wish everyone a safe and Happy New Year!!! This girl is sitting out on the sober bench this year!!

As surgery approaches, 1 month from today to be exact...I'm finding myself more and more excited and ready to get my life back. 2013 will be a year of hope for me...I know with this new life comes obstacles and hurdles but I am ready to take them on!!! I find myself watching success stories on youtube, and checking out before and after pics on here more and more...and you all are such an inspiration to me. OK sooooo the world better not end on the 21st because 2013 will be my year!!!! Hehehe
