I went to the Dr on Feb 15, 2013. He said for me to think about the Sleeve and the Duodenal Switch. I have to go through 6 months of Weight Management classes. I also have to have a colonoscopy; go to a cardiologist, and psychologist. This Friday March 1 is my first weight management class. My whole life I have fought my weight. from being a young child to now, I have tried so many crazy diets, and diet pills. I want to have this surgery as soon as possible so I can begin living my life. I know that this is just a tool, I am tired of being out of breath, and my hips hurting every time I do any walking or standing for a long time. I am 54 years old right now. I am diabetic and also have high blood pressure. This is the beginning of my journey. I am 241lbs right now.
